Air shocks are gone and Im going back to my adjustable Ranchos. Add a leaf came in last night so that's todays project.
'ceptin' for sleeping on the tree you slaughtered him on every number... I was wondering what the other vehicles was, except for the poor 60ft(which kills ET all the way down the track) appeared to be similar to the old 5.0 in my T-Bird...
You have a lot of potential in your car, bigger tube headers, lower gear, slicks & fix your suspension woes,& you might crack high 10s.If you think the bottom end of the engine will hold,an 850 carb & turning that 331 near 8000 & I know you will hit 10s.
I'd keep it as is and try to get the most out of it. I love the FAST class. Awesome car you have there. How do you like the g force T5? I'm torn between the G force and Astro T5, my combo is a little milder that what you have... 347, AFR 185, 10.5-1 and Anderson N61 roller w/ air gap.
Thanks I wanted an Astro T5 but couldn't find one at the time and was in a yank to get a tranny so I went with a used Gforce. No issues at all with the Gforce yet. Its a street version.
lol.. every time I see this cars picture, I'm reminded to always make sure you can hear the other guys motor before you start screwin' around with him on the roadways. And don't ask me how I know or learned this little fact-o-life.. cuz you'll only get me started and I wont shut up. Are you going to run a straight collector or choke it down a bit with a merge collector.. or at least a reverse style merge cone to aid in scavenging? And will you use cutouts at some point as well? And that 2.5" exhaust.. "you're killin me' here smalls".
since you asked, new mods are 1-3/4 JBA headers, 3" in exhaust. with 3" cutouts and 3" Walker quiet flow Muffs, Super Victor intake, 4.30 or 4.11 gears. More sleeper-ish ;-)
