Welcome to the site from northeast Ohio!!!!! You might want to consider being the Maverick Comet Club International (MCCI) representative for the Islands!!!
from Atlantic Canada! What a unique situation you have! A Mart-Report would show where the car was originally sold. https://www.martiauto.com/reports2.cfm
We used to import cars from the states before we switch to the rhd cars few years ago. There are quite a few American muscle are on the island at the moment.
I know when i was a kid living in a small harbour town in New Zealand in the 80s there were alot of American cars from the 50s, 60s and maybe the 70s there. For a town of only 3000-3500 people i can remember an awesome Plymouth Savoy maybe a 1957 an old guy had 3 Dodge Kingsways, he also ran a mail boat that was powered by two 440 Chryslers, the boat was called Comet,he also sold my brother a 360 from a Superbee. There was 50s Pontiac Chieftain and one of the very early Corvettes to name a few. There was also a rumor that there was a dump site full of willys jeeps from WW2.
