    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for getting those. I really like the 77. Same seats that my 77 4dr had. Pretty comfy, too. That is a nice clean car. The 70 looks well done, too--I think I saw it on Facebook this morning? I would love to have the bucket seats out of that Comet!

    You're welcome Paul!

I was surprised that the Comet had bucket seats being that it was a 6 cylinder and had the column shifter.

This car belongs to a guy I met at a cruise-in. It now has a 302 and 4 speed in it and is painted Calypso Corral.

I just realized that the vin in a real Grabber from 69.5/70 does not have "93" in it. They all say "91" until 1971 then the vin changes to "93" which lets you know if its a true Grabber

That is correct, however, the Grabber Package was a late model-year option that became available in February 1970. Therefore, there will be NO 1969.5 Maverick Grabbers. A Marti Report or the paint code of Grabber-only colours (e.g. "Z" for Grabber Green) on certain cars is the only way to definitively identify a car as a REAL 1970 Grabber.

All of this and even more information on 1970 Maverick Grabbers can be found on Craig's "1970 Grabber" Registry website:

I saw this one sitting for sale in my town this afternoon. I stopped to get the VIN and a few pics. I will post the other info in the Marketplace section of the forum.
