Not sure what the OP thinks he has at the crank, but my guess is.. and depending on race weight(maybe about 3,000 lbs?).. probably around a 300 horse motor with maybe 230 - 250 of that at the rear wheels.

Many get far too caught up in thinking they'll need major power to be able to go fast and often forget that light weight makes it much easier to do. Getting it to hook and dialing it all in so that the parts work together as well as possible is the trickiest part for most.

Nick, do you disconnect your front sway bar before lining it up? And also messed with rear tire pressure a bit to keep from hitting the tire quite as hard?

I am running the headman 88300s, but on the driver side I cut the flange off the factor explorer exhaust manifold to use as a spacer & I'm using short sparkplugs denso p#5023 and you have to massage the header quite a bit around the shock tower & steering box to get it to fit with the spacer

The car weighs 2860 with me in it and fuel and I have yet to do any tuning(timing or carb) or suspension work on it yet, I'm thinkin mid to high 300s hp wise at the flywheel when I get everything right, the front sway bar was disconnected, and the rear tires were at 15lbs
