hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help me. I want to ditch my original turn signals below the bumper and wire up the ones in the grille. Unfortunately the ones in the grille have a different pig tail. Anyone know if I can simply swap pig tails with the original ones? I tried one of the splice things but it was drawing too much power and neither one would work. Any advise would help. Thanks

I'm not sure if I need too. I just used one of those plastic wire splices that splices both wires together without cutting them in half. I might just end up taking it to an auto electric shop:/

Frank, can you give me any suggestions on what bulbs to use to turn the original turn signals into fog lights? Also did you just wire it up separately with a toggle switch or something? Thanks

Success gentleman! Thanks for all the help! I ended up buying the correct pig tails from Autozone and the rest was a piece of cake! The wiring was basically the same:)

Dang! I spoke too soon. The turn signals now work but when I turn the lights on the turn signal indicator lights on the dash stay on. Also they won't work with the lights on and the parking lights don't work:/

I put a clear 1157 bulb in the bumper lights, then they were wired to the high/low beam headlights. the fog lights are on bright when the low beams are on and on low when the highs are on.
