    my plans for the fall are to get rid of the flared quaters probaly going to fab them because i cant find any lol and paint, pull the motor to check it to be safe, add some new bars. for now but you know how that goes

    do you race with that small air filter or is it just for moving the car around?

    Your car looks very much like mine, outside and inside..............except for the flared quarters.
    The braces for the towers are really needed if you ever bring the front tires off the ground, because your caster/camber does change without them.
    Here is a picture of mine for reference.

    Yes, nice sounding car, is it a foot brake or do you have a trans brake?
    Here is a picture of mine in 1979/80 at the Fremont Drag Strip in Northern California.
    Nothing has really changed except the motor and trans. It did have 302w with Cleveland heads and a 4spd crash box.............I still have one of the 4spd's, clutch and flywheel. Also, in B/SM you could only run 10.5 wide tires and it now has 13" wide. Back in the B/SM days it was running in the 10.30's. The car is heavy because of the carpeting and no aluminum in the tubbing or rear area...................with me it weighs in at 3325lbs.
