I agree totally with that. With age they are both about had it. I did mine myself and glad I put in the extra effort.
CLIPS! lots of clips, and the proper adhesive. .. http://mmb.maverick.to/threads/headliner-install-how-to-do-it-at-home-yourself.71929/
Don't mean to "jack" the thread, just wanna join the ride but I really don't wanna buy from autokrafters for a headliner, I mean yes period correct and excellent quality no doubt but too much for me, I've been looking at eBay and stock interiors http://www.stockinteriors.com/items...=200&MainCatId=7&Desc=Ford_Maverick_Headliner They sell carpet and headliner and custom visors for our cars, but has anyone installed this headliner on your mav/comet from this company classicautotrim? http://m.ebay.com/itm/70-71-72-73-7...NER-USA-MADE-QUALITY-/121728585855?nav=SEARCH I mean they have a good review but just curious, cause if I can get those for $80 free shipping then I can save $30 for the supplies and such to install it, btw is it possible that I can install the headliner without removing the front windshield, I know on cjponyparts the mustang has a unique headliner that just tucks slight under it, possible I can do that
I'm at the point that I need to install a new headliner. I have taken the windshield out but I really don't want to remove the rear window. Is there anyone that has done it with the rear windown in?
The headliner was one of the first major things I did. For myself, I was able to get the rear glass in alone, the front required assistance. If you are taking the time to do the headliner, I suggest pulling the glass to do it right.
I did my headliner on two Mavericks so far, one was heavy marine vinyl and the other was a headliner ordered off of E Bay, not hard to do but take all the glass out, I did and reinstalled all the glass by myself,
