are you doing a fuel injected 302 or a carb?

your gonna need a carb hat, and to be honest a carb and a turbo will be a pain, First you need a blow thru carb. You can convert your to blow thru but it seems kinda difficult. So I would look into that.
It might actually be cheaper to convert it to fuel injection from an old stock fox body and then just bolt the turbo to that. Tuning a turbo with a carb is really complicated because its hard t make the thing run decent at part throttle without making her run lean at boost.

For the exhaust your either gonna want to make a custom manifold or use stock manifolds and add to them, your gonna have to bring both exhaust pipes to one side of the engine bay to the turbo. It would be cheaper to use stock exhaust maifolds and then make a bolt on section that routes the exhaust to wherever you plan on putting the turbo.

There is going to be a ton of piping but its definitly doable, if you moint the turbo where your battery used to be you would run the drivers side echaust foward in front of the engine, then the passenger foward.
Then you would need to run the down pipe off the trubo to the rear of the car, I would run the down pipe as low and close to the engine as possible.

either way the piping is going to be similar, did you see the thread i posted? he took stock manifolds and flipped em around so they pointed foward and then made the custom parts off that. So yes you can do it with the stock towers.
