A little new to this posting thing lol. Just picked up this sweet little 70 to try and recreate my first car that was given to me by my late dad some 30 years ago , car is pretty solid , and a rarity up here in northern bc. Drove 16 hours one way to pick her up.. Had people chasing me down telling me stories of Mavericks they used to own , every gas station would at least get one coo, story ,, here is a few pics of my original car image.jpeg image.jpeg

Your current car is very nice and clean looking, reminds me much of mine when I first brought it home and then I altered it, sometimes I wish I would have left it stock. What are your plans for its future?

Plans for now are replace the 6 with an 8 , I bought a 73 comet gt parts car that is rotten beyond repair , granny owned car 61,000 miles , going to clean up and swap drive trains for now , just to get it to a running driving 302 car , then I have to decide where to go from there , I would like to recreate my old car , but then have all these ideas screaming around my head to do the things I never could 25 years ago and make it the best I can

Nice car. I can relate. I drove mine home in 12 hours over two days, crossed three mountain ranges including the continental divide.
