I'll be one of the odd ones who will likely do all three... I'm pretty close to being finished with the restoration of my car, but will have to wait until I have "After" photos to build a Showcase entry. The Showcase is a nice way to illustrate the complete build without sifting through pages of extra comments, etc. I enjoyed reading through yours Micah! I know its a lot of work to put together, but it's definitely a more comprehensive way of sharing the build.

I think it's a good idea. If I'm tight on time I would prefer to scout this threads pic's first and then decide where I'm going to invest my time to get more details later on. These kinda threads help keep the cream on top. Should be a sticky! :thumbs2:

PS. I also mentioned to Stefan that I believe he may potentially save some data bandwidth if people can take some additional shortcuts around the site. Having to search and read, or even just scrolling though dozens.. sometimes even hundreds.. of template/banners/pic's/ad reloads can't be much better than jumping right into some nice full size pic's right off the bat.

Since I bought my car new, this was taken when the car was less than a year old. So technically, this is what I started with.

    [IMG][IMG]

This was taken in 2000 just before I decided to start restoring it

    [IMG][IMG]

This is it now. I finished the restoration back in 2002.

Look at his image gallery. That'll answer most of the simple questions. It's a triple threat kinda ride. Touring, autocrosser and drag toy that can still be daily driven.. so not much factory stuff left under that thing. My kinda ride.. I dig it too.

Shortly after I bought it, I had to put the Cragars on, since the stock 73 wheels wouldn't fit with the disc's. 2006?
