Hi I just recently acquired a 1974 Ford Maverick from a family member. It currently is not running but hopefully will be soon. I am looking for parts such as grabber hood, spoiler or truck and quarter extensions. I am also looking for small bumpers. I am currently vacationing in upstate New York but I am from South Carolina. I was wondering if anyone knew of any locations in New York for parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a young so cars are new to me and I would like to learn as much as I can. Thank you for your time.

Welcome to our Maverick world here on the www.

Get it running/driving/stopping FIRST.....then worry about the rest.

Thank you. Yeah my plan is to get it running before summer. I soon will be getting a used 302 to put in it. It used to be a 6cylinfer but was swapped to a 302 at some point. Unfortunately the engine currently in it blew a piston at some point. But on the good side the used engine won't cost me anything. I plan on rewiring the car due to mice getting into the wiring.

The car is mostly solid except for where the battery tray was and the floor pans. I have read that you have to use mustang floor pans but I would like to get good floor pans.

    Welcome!

Be aware 302/5.0 crank balance changed in 1982, flywheel/flexplate must match era of engine...
