What are you guys using for rear spring eye bushings and shackle bushings?

I can get stock replacement rubber bushings, but I would prefer poly or aluminum but I can't find a source for them.

Mine are toast now, so I'm going to have to replace them.

When it comes to drag racing, the rear shackle bushings are just "along for the ride". It is the fronts that the torque is applied to. The stock rubber ones are just fine. I run polyurethane front eye bushings and stock rubber in the rear. I had polys in the rear but they squeaked. They also didn't fit correctly and I had to grind them down to install.

Do you have a source for the poly front bushing or a part number?

I originally wanted solid ones. I've gotten them in the past from Global West but they don't show them on their website. I didn't think about Caltrac. I'll call them tomorrow. I need traction bars and shocks from them anyway.

read the product description, especially the 2nd "Tech Tip" for Drag Racing application, I used this set on my 73 Comet.

Thanks David. I didn't see any listed for a '74 Mav. I didn't realize the Cougar ones would work, but it makes sense that there is some crossover between different models of FOMOCO.
