First time I have heard of this FI setup! I like the custom tower brace.

Another member had mentioned it before, great price and reviews. I plan on installing it on my wife's 67 Firebird this summer.

For sure. I've been very interested in this unit since Bryant? originally posted it last year.

The thing that I noticed in their vid's(the one where the car was idling shortly before the pull, Camaro or maybe the Firebird) had what looked like an excess of fuel being metered abobe the butterflies at idle speed. Maybe it was just the cams reversion and/or timing was not aggressive enough to maximize manifold vacuum but it left me with concerns for how accurate the metering could be with that much raw fuel above a closed throttle shaft.

Of course maybe I just never realized how much fuel is actually being pulled out of the idle well under the closed throttle shafts of a 4bbl carb simply because I can't visualize it like this design allows for. lol There's quite a bit of fuel coming out of the injectors as a whole on any V8 engine @ idle rpm so me thinks it's just one of those "out of sight, out of mind" sorta things when it comes to a carb.

Do you see this same affect on your combo?

If these companies could only ditch the head banging music that always seems to accompany these type of vids. I want to hear the motor, that is the only "music" I need.

the one I spoke of above didn;t have music. Just watched it again and that motor needs more tuning cause it's breaking up a bit through much of the rev range.

I think some of that roughness was due to bad audio.

If you check out some of their installation video's, the music is present.

I also have a FiTech GoEFI installed on my Ford Racing 427 crate engine. For a crusin car I love it.

No more starting/choke issues, starts the same hot or cold. Smoother running engine. Used FiTech's frame mounted fuel pump and return line.

It took a couple hundred mile for it to "learn" and get rid of a couple of engine stumbles. It would sometimes have a little hiccup bet recover immediately. Great tech support!

That thing must be a handful to hook up.

Actually you get the rebate regardless of who you buy it from. All their distributors have the form. Bought mine from Pace Performance 'cause they were a few dollars less than anywhere else I looked (as if $15 means a lot when you're spending almost $1300 LOL).
