Plan is to put it in front of the windshield washer bottle, under the horn. I'll put up pics as I go through this, don't know how much I'll get to work on it this week, though.
They had a contest back in December for a free set up. I was a finalist with my maverick. Unfortunately did not win. Hope to one day use one of their set ups.
I can't wait for your feed back about the install. I want this set up as well, I'm going to buy the go efi 4 600hp unit but wont be able to use the timing control on my dizzy. I could save a few bucks buy using the go street unit but its only good to 400hp. I will also use the command center for fuel delivery.
You may want to confirm that limitation with them. When I called last year about using their system with my programmable MSD-6al setup I was told that it would be no problem and the ignition control portion of their software could be left out of the equation. Hopefully I was not given bad info.
The reason I said I cant use the timing control is because I have a ready to run dizzy and no box. I would have to either add a msd 6al or buy a computer controlled dizzy with a lock out feature. The go street efi omits the timing control, that is why it is only $795. the go efi 4 has the option if I want to add timing control later.
Ok, makes sense now. Sorry for the confusion and needless clutter. Although, these questions would have likely come up anyways so maybe it's not all bad.
I'm running EDIS so I won't be able to use the FiTech timing control, either. Because of that I debated getting the 400 hp unit but figured that wouldn't leave me much room to grow in the future.
Ran into a small hiccup. The FiTech has a coolant temp sensor you have to install and my intake manifold only has one place to screw one in and that was already taken by my in-dash temperature gauge. Went to Lowes and bought a tee and some hose barbs so that I can move the gauge sensor to the upper heater hose near the rear of the engine.
