anything you can put on them to make them more pliable before you start using them will be a big help. found this out with a nice set of bucket seats. in and out about 10 times and 150 miles and they started splitting at the seams...:yup:

Nothing thanks to summit, my Fitech efi keeps getting pushed back. Now early May, if I woulda known this I would have gone thru Jegs. I had to call in to find out it got pushed back again.

I'm in the same boat. Although I think even jegs hasn't had them. I've called fitech and summit multiple times. And they are extremely backordered. From what the lady at summit said, they are waiting on 98 of the 1200 hp power adder kit on may 6th. Which seems very unlikely. They test each unit. So their turn around time is awful. Kinda gave up on summits estimated delivery date.

I believe Jegs got a batch this past Monday, nothing summit can do but I have to blame somebody.

Easy enough to cancel an order out and go somewhere else too.

Made some speaker grills for my kick panels. Had cut the panels for 5 .25 speakers few years ago, just getting around to putting a decent cover on them. -- tired of lookin at that ugly hole. Had to put them close to the wall, don't want to get my big foot hung, when going for the brake. I am thinking about painting the panels; if I paint those may have to do rear quarters also to look uniform. Been cool and rain last few days, trying to catch up on small projects I can take in the house on the work bench in warm house.

Got my new wheels and tires installed! Almost done again. Challenges as usual; issues with interference on the Crager wheels and dual piston front disk brakes (CSRP kit). Fixed with a 1/8" spacer, but more $ again. (Otherwise, the brakes work great).

swapped spedo cable for one from a '80 Granada with the same axle ratio. Only difference is Granada cable is about 5 inches longer.....better than 5" shorter.....maybe more slack to keep it away from headers? Found out nothing was holding my gauge cluster in except said cable and harness plug and upon removal and inspection, I have cracks, missing screws, and there is silver resistor looking thing broken away (formerly spot welded) from its mount. UUUGH!!! One day I will find the LAST messed up part on this car. WP_20160430_18_56_15_Pro[1].jpg

Looks like upgrading from the PS ram has been expedited.
