Hi Maverick enthusiastic's, I am looking to remove the tower shocks suspension of my maverick 1970. Anybody knows someone that can fabricate inner fender panels for the Maverick? I have found on eBay Inner fenders for a Chevrolet Nova. I am pretty sure the will not fit. Right? Thanks in advance Notorious.
What kit are you using to remove the shock towers? Most kits have the replacement patch panels available.
I am pretty sure I have seen panels that just replace where the shock towers were. That way you don't have to replace the entire side.
Yes. I saw that before. but I'm looking for a more smooth clean looking inside of the bay. I guess I have to buy a sheet metal sheet and take to a shop. That way they can bend in custom fabricate for me but I'm sure that will be a lot more expensive.
The blue car you have in your first post belongs to Carnut, a member on this board. He made templates which he took into a shop and had them made.
Bdw, I didn't find anything out there. So I will do my own inner fender panels. Let's see how it will turn out.
