We had a chance to take my dad's early Father's Day present out to a cruise-in this evening.

Looks like the hood scoop is a little loose.

 

Is the hood scoop off another ford or aftermarket???---tx

 

It isn't loose but for some reason it has some type of flat washer between the scoop and the hood. It doesn't have the correct studs on it. It is something we are going to work on gettin fixed. The main thing he did this week was worked on cleaning the paint and the interior.

During the off season we are going to do the black paint and striping similar to a Comet GT on the hood.

 

It is off of a Mercury Comet GT.

 

Get the correct hardware at Carlisle.

Yes, we are planning on doing the headlights bezels too.

It also has the chrome style later model grille, might need to do something with that or change it out with an earlier model grille.

The interior (seats, dash pad, headliner, carpet) is all original except for the door panels, which were replaced with a deluxe pair. He clay barred the entire car and then put two coats of wax on it this week.
