Hello all Does anyone Know if the maverick ever have been on a build show on tv? Like fast and loud, overhauling etc? I am almost the only one in Norway With a maverick so wanted a closer look on the car. I have seen many pictures and YouTube clips but i would love to have a closer look on the car. Mine is almost finished but i struggle With for example the fuel line. It is such a tight fit With the v8 351w. When i show the car for getting the license plate everything must be tight and good. Same With the Oil lines from the c4 transmission. Cant figur out av good route for them. Anyone Know?
What's the issue? Did you relocate them or change from carb to efi and redo all the lines? I mean over here in the US these cars never had tight or tucked hidden lines from the factory. You can zip tie, use bolt/screw on plastic retainers to clean up areas but somethings aren't easily routed from stock locations. Sorry I'm a little confused but trying to help
Hehe well i will try to explain. I bought the car as a "shell" everything out. So all i have is this forum to work from and my head hehe. In Norway its not easy for especially american Cars That is not complety original to have license plates. And we have to show our car every two year to special workshops That have goverment approval to say That the car is safe for another two years. Everything must work and be secure. For example i Can not order seatbelts from the States because they have to have a e-type marking.. so when i show my car it has to be perfect. Or Better then perfect... its almost hopeless. But i am so close. Now my fuel line goes from tank, through tunnel and its fastened. But from the transmission to the fuel pump its loose. And because off the headers it is av tight fit. I Can not show the car With a fuel line i Can move underneath the car. It has to be solid and secure. I Hope you understand what i mean ( and my frustration hehe)
I understand a little better. Would pics of a stock '72 Maverick location of these items help you out some? Yes they would probably help. The link you posted doesnt show the fuel line from underneath the car. But glad for all help i Can get
About the women i believe Norway i Known for its beautifull women. Hehe and yes the most beautifull one is in fact in the same house i am in hehe
This is the rear axle driver's side where the line begins from the rear at the tank, it runs up along the inner lip of the fender well and down under the car directly behind the rocker panels. I would have shown routing under there but Hornets have made a nest and I'm allergic to them ! Front driver's side wheel well the fuel line comes out still tucked to the frame. behind the control arm tucked to frame. My car is P/S so it comes out under the washer reservoir and in front of the shock tower
I hope this helps give you a Good Idea as it's the best I could do right now before killing those stinging nuisances and lol yeah I've been told there are some beautiful women over there good save there as well with claiming the most beautiful one
