    Got rear end all together and in the car old 8" had a 3.50 gear with the new 9" it's got 4.11 have to go to the track this week and try it out

    Looking Good! That'll be one less thing to worry about. Is your driveshaft going to be ok to use? Same U-joints and all?

    Yea I used a ford motor sports aluminum one for the fox body mustang (m-4602-g) just take the flange off the back and change the u joint to a 1350

    I am running a 9 inch with 3.89 . I was told that 9 inch was harder to turn than 8 inch. I was thinking of going to use a 8 inch with 411 gears .I have friend is going to a 8.8 because it turn easier. He is building a stocker I have a 349 c4 3000 tci best et 11.94 115 mpr 1/4

    I guess most after market c4s have the 28 spline shaft?

    I think you can get one from PA it comes to order 31 that's the high-dollar transmission now

    I think they put the C6 shaft in it

    The spline count is not the greatest issue.. material type is. Now plenty of premium steel shafts being made for the C4.
