Hello Again! Does anyone know where I can get the formed PCV valve-to-carb hose for a 1971 Mav with a 200? Looks like I'm on another Holy Quest! I have a regular hose in there, but without the formed bend, it's causing the PCV valve to lean. I am putting in a new grommet which will decrease the bend, but I'd like it to be as straight as possible. Just to make sure, with the bad grommet, it does make the idle poor? Thanks to all! Bye, Renton5 (Daniel)
Best I remember the 200 was avail in Stang through '70, seldom saw one though... Those had four lug suspension and drum brakes with no power or disc brake option... They were common in Stang & Fairlane through '68...
There was a FASTBACK 1970 Mustang for sale locally not that long ago. Very clean, reasonable mileage (under 100K), and a straight six! Four lug wheels and skinny tires .... ugh! They still wanted $12K for it.
The Mustang fastbacks have become ridiculous in price, even garbage ones. That is why the kid ended up with a Maverick, and then a Comet. They are still reasonable, but they seem to be climbing.
