The cure is now shipping for a total of $17.35.
    The kit includes:
    Drilling guide
    Tapping guide
    Guide clamp
    Restrictor (adjustable)
    Lock nut
    Instructions (4 pages)
    Photos (9)

    What it does:
This kit allows you to tune the release of the intermediate servo to eliminate the flare that happens in some C4 2-3 shifts.

    Scooper,
I always accept tips but the price includes shipping and is $17.35.
Just send me a postal money order and your address.
I will ship the kit as soon as I receive payment.

Is this kit suitable for a recently rebuilt "stock" C4? I don`t race and have my stock 250cid. At this time my trans works fine,I`d just like to prolong it`s life.

The kit will do nothing if the C4 is working well and not experiencing a 2-3 flare.
Don't waste your money buying something that you don't need.

(no wonder I am not a wealthy man)

is this kit usable on multiple tranys?
i suspect that have of it is but restrictor and lock nut are need per trans. i personaly dont need this for my car but i may need it for customer cars. also is the adjustability external or does the pan have to come off to make adjustments. also does the trans have to come out to do this fix?

Good question on multiple tranny's. I have my old c4 that I want to experiment with by tearing down and rebuilding in the future. Might need it for that one as well.

The kit is for one C4 - if you wanted to use it on multiple C4s then you will need a kit for each one or make the restrictors yourself for the extra transmissions.
The pan has to come off to make adjustments after the installation. The installation requires the removal of the valve body but the transmission can stay in the car.
Unless you have a lathe it would probably be less expensive to just buy the extra kits - or talk with me about how many extra restrictors you need. The drill and tap guides can be used on multiple transmissions.
NOTE: on the pre-70 C4s I am not sure if the valve bodies have the servo release port in the same place - if it is then it will work on them too. IF the port is not in the same place but you can fit the mod in the correct port then it will work anyway. I have made every attempt to make it as universal as I could but it has only been tested on the 70- up C4s.

Being as he hasn't logged in in over four years, you'll probably be waiting awhile for a reply...
