The summer heat sure makes it quiet around here. Cant wait to get out some more when its not to hot to stand around in a parking lot.

Been trying just to work on mine, but there are precious few hours in the day that it's cool enough.

I have no desire to work outside unless I am being paid. Just started a business anyways so I haven't had time.

Also a friend of mine spotted this Comet at the Pick A Part yard on Extension in Mesa a few days ago in case anyone here is looking for parts. Looks like a set of bumpers, tail lights, possible gas cap. Weird rear suspension and leafs in the front.

I know...it's hard to get motivated to work in the garage when it is this hot.

I just go out and tighten or remove a few bolts and go back in, then come out ever hour or so.. I figure some progress is better than none..

Does anyone local need any Maverick glass? I've got the Lexan in place so I have my complete set of glass that I don't know what to do with. I hate to toss it, so I figured I'd throw it out to you local guys just in case you had a need. I want to say that this is tinted, as it certainly isn't completely clear like my Lexan is.

I'm worried that if I just leave it in my garage it will end up getting broken and creating a huge mess.

Yep, it has a scratch in it from a windshield wiper though. Of all the glass that one is probably the only one with a defect. But having said that, I drove it like that for 10 years. It's on the passenger side, so it didn't bother me as the only driver!

Hey guys and gals...anyone up for a mini-meet before this year is over?? Seems like each year we say we should get together more often but it never seems to happen. :( Anyway, seems like Sundays work better than Saturdays since some of us have to work on Saturdays. I was thinking maybe Sunday, December 11th with a rain date of Sunday, December 18th. I intentionally left out the first weekend in December by request from another member who has yet been able to make one of our meets and asked me about it at the Sanderson Ford show this past weekend. I'm also wondering if we should branch out and change our meeting place? Any ideas of another centrally located area...somewhere with enough room for us?

Ryan, that oil slick under your car must be getting pretty thick by now...

Possibly, depends on the state of my car when the meet is scheduled. Im pulling all my small bumpers, grabber wing and parts out of the attic today to make sure I have everything before I start to tear down.

Tony told me about this. Will try to pencil those dates on the calendar. Sounds like a good idea to me.
Heading to Vegas for the ET Finals tomorrow.
