I'v been through a similar situation. Go get it and take it somewhere else. Best case at this point you get a rush job.
Best wax & grease remover...Comet cleanser, Scrub the whole body before doing any repair/body/paintwork...Been doing it this way for 30 plus years. Workes very well and makes all the stainless trim look new to boot. You do have to be thorough when rinsing though.

I got my stripes from http://www.graphic-express.com/. They are licensed by Ford and I found that important to me. Yours would be considered "2-color". Your stripes would also be reflective....which will cost more.
I have a white civic that I wash with comet every other Spring. It gets all the green crud out that grows in this rain infested part of the world, oxidation too. Its a wonder there is any paint still on the silly thing.
