Okay, so I'm gunna get eaten alive for asking this question because I know the answer is somewhere in this forum but my search is giving me nothing.

I thought I remember somewhere that the Fox Body shock mounts for the front fit in our shock towers. So you can use fox body shocks and springs, as well as lowering mounts. But I can't seem to find the thread for it. I think you had to get the right lower perch, and upper shock mount, then you could use up to 1-3/4" drop with fox body springs which worked really well with the 5.0L, and provided a wicked raked stance.

I ask because I have a 5.0L, the export bar doesn't fit with the EFI, (no I don't wanna go to carb... not that I like the EFI I just put a lot of work in to getting it working and I'm stubborn.) But I know someone has a montecarlo that can go around the dest. With the montecarlo and fox springs/shocks. And find a lower crossmember and sub-frame connectors. I would feel pretty darn good about auto-crossing it. Without having to do a M2 conversion....

AJE offers a kit. Franktf did this to his Comet but only used their cross member if I recall. He has a thread in the project section, hard to miss as it's the only Comet thread with a butt load of replies that's currently active.

I wasn't thinking the kit though. I thought there was a like $100 perch you could buy and new tower mounts and then use fox body springs. His is like whole tower conversion.

I don't think you are going to find anything for $100 to convert to struts. What Frank did was but the cross member which mounts the lower arms, the arms from AJE. He sourced the spindles, brakes, struts and camber plates separately.
