I did some trading with a guy a while back and ended up with a really nice chrome gill. I don`t think that I`ve seen one on one of these cars before. Are they very common ? I might end up putting it up for sale since I don`t think it would look right on my car... any idea what it is worth ? obviously a picture would be nice but just assume its like new.

    Thanks,

    Hi Elliot :
Interested in having a look at your chrome grille ! Never seen one yet and I'd like to view one up close. Any chance that you will TAKE a picture and post it ? Would appreciate it . I'm still in the process of spray-chrome plating plastic parts at my plant . Items like Marker Light Housings, Grabber Hood Scoops , small plastic covers on the
hinge part, and surrounding plastics of bucket seats and FINALLY Grilles. I have two Comet and two Maverick Grilles that I'm going to process now that I'm finishing my Daughters Maverick. I'll post photos of the items I
    process afterwards.

For an interesting way to make the chrome grilles look nice is to mask off the front chrome edges and paint inside the fins black. It gives the grille and appearance of being black chrome. I have done this to 2 of the chrome grilles I have and really like the look

The '70 Maverick that I got my dad earlier this year had a chrome grille, someone had swapped the original grille for it.

    Hi Frank:
How does the grille look installed ? Do you have any pics? Glad to hear the Maverick Grilles are available in Chrome .. I'm going to process a couple COMET grilles first thing when we're set up . Have to move a few things around in the shop in order to begin . My Daughters Maverick is almost finished and when she moves here car out
there will be room to set up . I'll post some pics of the Comet grilles when finished if anyone out there may be interested in one . Incidentally .. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL THE MEMBERS OUT THERE !!

I had a chrome grill. It was not original to my car though.
