    My dad said they used to use chains when mounts failed. I'm gonna try out solid mounts, kinda on the fence about them. But I only drive the car when it's nice out. Mostly a cruiser, but I do plan on taking it down a track after I get my wideband, caltrac bars, and a better rear tire

    Yes have seen chain used on many cars I use a turn buckle with eye bolts looks a little more sanitary

    The bolt through the mount trick has worked for my car for 15 years 2 motors and thousands of passes.
