+I preffer to do my own since I learned first hand from a painter that did it for a profession. I am able to do a show quality job at a fraction of the price because you need to be aware of certain factors when you paint. I don't have 30,000 tied up in a paint both with sata guns either. Patients an understanding of the products is key.

I could if you were close. I have painted dump trucks an cars very reasonable. It all depends on the paint cost. Color is the price factor.

Wow! I guess with a nice paint job, there is some assembly required.

I have been trying so hard to get my car into one piece that tearing it down to that extent is mind boggling. One step at a time I guess.....and for me, baby steps! I suppose if I ever get to one of those Mav/Comet gatherings and see all the BEAUTIFUL cars, the tear apart bug might get me.

Yeah I liked my Mav but the paint was less than perfect for sure. So I wanted it to be as nice as possible.
Hope to have it all back together before April 1st for a local car show

    71gold I like that white !!!!

What happen to it after the friend got it? What state of disassembly was it, when friend got it?
I am to old for my car to be locked up for 1.5; I like driving it -- just the way it is. If it ever gets disassembled to the point of your 71, someone else will own it....
