    Seems odd they'd build vehicles in Canada and ship them all the way to Charlotte NC district, Kansas City has to be closer... Probably had something to do with Comet startup as at time only Kansas City built both...

    I just bought a 69.5 Maverick last week. Just found out what that meant this week. :) It is all original other than some paint work and only has 31,800 miles. Serial number 0X91U174361.

    Thanks for sharing your VIN!

    3F93F176345

    3 = 1973
    F = Dearborn Assembly Plant
    93 = Maverick Grabber
    F = 302 V8
    176345 = 76,345th Maverick in the 1973 model year

    Body: 62D = Maverick Grabber
    Color: 9A = White
    Trim: HG = Avacado - All Vinyl Bench

    Based on the Colour and Trim codes, I'd hazard a guess and say your Grabber is white with green stripes? Something like THIS?

    The best way to get an itemized options list and production statistics based on YOUR vehicle is to order/purchase a Marti Report from Marti Auto Works: https://www.martiauto.com/martireports.cfm

    Here is a copy of MY Marti Report to show you what type of info you can get in a Deluxe Report for $46 or so.

    Actually when talking Dearborn plant VINs will be mixed with Mustang, all the 176345 means is it was the 76,345th vehicle order taken at Dearborn assembly... Not Maverick or Mustang specifically...

    Thanks for sharing! It appears your 70 is actually what enthusiasts refer to as a 69.5 Maverick. Your car likely has the ignition switch on the dash then. I have added your VIN to the 1969.5 VIN List.
