Finally finished exhaust, not perfect, but sounds great... Flowmaster 10's and stainless tailpipes that I pirated from a wrecked 97 mustang a friend bought for the front and rear end for his fox... Used nearly the entire exhaust system H-pipe,and most of the hangers, and bought mandrel bends to weld up headpipes... Now the neighbors wont crap themselves when I run it,and no more pictures and what-nots falling off the walls in the house... (y)

Completed my manual steering conversion!:rofl2: I needed to move the car on to its new home (we are going with it) and I had everything torn apart. Necessity being the mother of invention this is what I worked out. I stacked nuts and washers inside to hold it all together, just has to work long enough to get on and off a a trailer.

I drove my car for the first time.... to the gas station.....2 1/2 mile round trip. It barely started when hot..(need more battery)..it is waaayyyy too low in front with the mystery cut springs. I got on it once and it seemed good but pushed some coolant out the overflow hose...need a overflow bottle. Brakes are like old car brakes, need to put the discs on. Needs more tranny fluid and seems to run slightly rich. Need to get rid of the 2.79 too. Lol....but it runs.

Every journey has to start somewhere. Let the mods begin!

Funny thing about the brakes. When I bought my first Maverick in 1973, I thought the brakes felt fine. When I drove one 40 years later, I was thinking, "how did I ever drive one of these things"!

Got a good test on the Taurus fan install while in Kentucky, with 90 degree temps it did its job great. Temp would go up to 195 then drop down to 175 at stop lights and driving it would stay at 180.
