    I have hedman longtubes. Had an AOD years ago. The collectors ended right up against the transmission pan. A torch and a long bar bent them a safe distance away. Glad that aod is gone now.

    I feel the same way Gene. I wouldn't have felt safe driving that sort of distance when there was about an inch of play where the stud goes to the steering arm. The shop wouldn't align the car last time it was in because of that.

    Looking forward to it next weekend. Got the car out and gave it a rinse today. Still messing with the carb to get it to run better. Put some fresh gas in, that should also help too. Will drive it around some to see if it cleans up.
