This is good to know...if I can remember! Incidentally, when I paint houses, I will not apply caulk onto un-primed wood because I believe it has better adhesion to primer than wood, and if the wood has had extensive exposure, I use a clear, thin primer that penetrates and adheres better than normal primer. Adhesion is critical for all aspects of finish coatings on everything!

I ordered Global West upper and lower control arms. Also ordered a set of Viking coil overs. I'm hoping these plus three negative roll A-arms along with the coil overs will give my car a more modern feel on the road. I'm going to completely rebuild the steering while I have it apart as well...

I just installed a setup that is pretty close to the setup you are going with except I have SPC upper control arms instead of global west, I really love how the coil overs perform and feel on the road. So far it is worth every penny, I also have an addco 7/8th sway bar on the front that helps as well

Stiff seats that won’t tilt down or go back far enough and no tilt column

Yeah removing seat or seats make it much easier at least you can lay down. I was just removing old stuff and I think I will remove the seats for installation, might as well I have everything else taken off, rear seat and side panels for running new wire. Luckily I didnt have to remove seat belts to snake new wires in but hate the seat belts for getting into rear seat area always get tangled up in them. Have lump on my forehead from hitting turn signal stalk. Ouch

I take the driver seat out a lot of times if I am needing to get into the back seat to clean the back window or even the carpet...having a lift in my shop is priceless...:bouncy:
