Anyone have edelbrock heads on their 302? If so what plugs do you run, mine had champion Rc12yc in them.
I've run those but like the Autolite 3924 for street and 3923 for racing... I have Trick Flow Twisted Wedges but almost all aftermarket heads use same plugs...
I also run Autolite 3924s for all occasions in my AFR headed 302. I use a dab of anti seize on each plug.
I use anti seize on my plugs too... and on many other bolts/threads where I think will make life easier, if/when I need to remove them.
I always ran Autolites in my Ebrock heads until last year. Bought a new set of Autolites because I need to run double platinum plugs with my EDIS ignition. Four of the plugs kept coming loose, the threads were undersized. Threw the boxes away before I checked where they were manufactured. Guys on SpeedTalk recommended NGKs made in Japan. They are some really nice plugs
I have Edelbrock performer rpm heads and switched to E3 plugs and never looked back. Almost 7yrs now still not fouled
I’m telling you, no gapping tri fire, they’ve been in the 347 for 10k miles and about 7yrs through thick and thin and it starts easier/quicker (assuming fuel pump has carried fuel to bowl) it was around $55 back then to buy 8 which I complained about lmao but it’s been an out of sight out of mind thing until I saw this thread haha
