Are you a member on other forums? Feels like I may have bought parts from you before... your screen name looks very familiar
Yes, I use the same screen name on all the forums I'm on. I used to have (3) '03-'04 Cobras, a Procharged '11 Coyote Mustang and (at the time) the quickest all motor 3.7 V6 Mustang in the country (12.60 @ 109 MPH) and was very active on svtperformance.com and fastfordmuscle.com. I'm also a member on several other Ford related car forums.
That looks nice! I had a Zinc Yellow '03 hardtop and a '04 Comp Orange hardtop and convertible. My uncle just sold his 21K mile Torch Red '04 Cobra that he had for over 11 years a couple of weeks ago so that he could buy a '70 Torino Cobra with the 429CJ and 4 speed.
My Cobra never sees daylight anymore, it has somewhere around 17k. I’d love to have a comp orange car
Welcome to the forum. I use to have that almost exact car 15 years ago. Good luck with the car. Let me know if you need anything. I msy very well have it in my parts stash in the garage. There are quite a few guys around the Pittsburgh area with Mavericks and Comets. I am just south of Pittsburgh off 79 near Cannonsburg PA. There are at least 5-6 guys around the area that I know of that have these cars.
Sounds nice! I really miss my Comp Orange convertible. I sold it in August 2010 to buy a new Grabber Blue '11 GT. It had just 6K miles on it when I sold it.
I had a grabber blue 11’ too. As far as I know I was one of the first to put a whipple on back then. I installed it in the first couple months of 2011. Loved that car, sold it to buy my Cobra. My cobras been on SVTP most of its life, two past owners were Turkish and VelociTT
I remember the screen name VelociTT. That is cool, I was also one of the first few to put a Procharger on a Coyote. IIRC we installed in late in 2010 or very early 2011. I think the car had like 2K miles on it when I put it on. It made 551 RWHP and 450 RWTQ.
