Pretty cool when you get a car with original documentation . I havent seen any cars with that color of interior I bet when it was new it looked pretty sanitary. Do you have big plans for it ?
Kewl... In the 1970s probably less than 25% of the economy cars were equipped with A/C... Optioning A/C added over $400 to price of $2200 vehicle(required at minimum 200 engine)... For that money one could opt for the 200($39 also required for auto), Automatic($185), P/S($95), & Radio($61)... With A/C & options that $2200 car was $3000... Mine has/had enough options to price out at $3600... Or 61% higher than the base price...
What a rip off for an am radio! I remember my 68 Mustang GT having the rare and highly sought after 8 track tape option. Actually sounded pretty good at the time. Lol Nice creampuff of a ride you have here. Sleeper anyone?
Just to get her back on the road and work on her. I am not sure what the official color of the interior is. It is different.
Oh I am sure it was big bucks back then. I one I had in high school has 670 air!!! Six windows and vents at 70 MPH!!!!!
I think I am just going to put a bluetooth speaker in it for now. If I did put a radio in, I would have cut the hole in the fender for the antenna too.
LOL, that tape unit was only $133... Not sure if tape or AM/FM were factory options for early(pre '73) Mav/Comet, never seen either on a price list... There was a AM/FM mono unit available, but apparently was a dealer item...
