Can anyone tell me what size the weather strip is for the Mavericks? Can it be purchased in bulk to save costs, or can I only get it in a kit form?

Weatherstripping for Mavericks and Comets are quite diverse to say the least. You can purchase them separately for the particular area you are dealing with but a single roll of weatherstrip would be an exercise in futility for most of the areas which require stripping. You might try a good paint and body store for a roll of stripping .. dunno where else.

Here is NOS Ford trunk weatherstripping, unfortunately from Switzerland, so shipping high..........

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Tr...212467&hash=item3f9a955f5c:g:lWkAAOSwlMRa3xHw

here is aftermarket for 1/2 the price:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Maverick-C...verick&hash=item441bc5e97e:g:3CcAAOSw8b1aMuuF

    or
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Maverick-2...verick&hash=item520ad20843:g:V2cAAOSweltbEAyP

NOS are out there, but will be expensive, for the aftermarket as listed above, some say fit is good, others say they hate them..........
