So today I got the car gutted exposed some of the dirty work I've got to do! Anyone knows of any floor pans out there? Looking like I'll have to weld some new sheets down. There is a video on YouTube that says a Maverick can drift and drift well. That car does have a V8 though.
Comets can drift well too. Especially one with a locked rear axle. I plead the 5th amendment with regard to any further details ...
Sorry but JMO but that POS is Not Even a Maverick. That thing is an abomination and a waste of what might have or could been a Maverick
If you want some more Power .. I'd sell the six-banger and get a 347 Stroker with a GOOD strong tranny behind it.. and make the switch . Just my opinion. Cometized (Chip))
or at least a Fuel Injected 5.0 / 302 setup from anything that runs. No Real way to make 250 6 cylinder have any kind of real power without spending what you would on a pretty peppy V8 swap. I say this because the 250's log style intake manifold is the bottle neck & the performance parts to build this are aussie based parts running upwards of $1200+
