Thanks Gene. $325 for straightening, de-rusting a little and re-chroming doesn't seem that outrageous. How bad was yours to start. Mine has some rust on the bottom, but has a ding on one side so it needs to be put back into it's origial shape.

Neither of my bumpers had any dings or dents. The front bumper had minor rust and was not a problem. The back bumper was very rusted and when they stripped it there were pinholes in the metal...not good. They were able to save it by filling those holes from the back side by applying a certain metal product that they melt down that I can't remember the name of. I think I may have had to pay a little extra for that process but at least they were able to save it.

Howdy guys and gals! Who is up for a Maverick mini-meet?? I know it's been about a year since we last got together so how about it. I'm kinda tied up until around the second week in November so let's try to plan something for maybe mid November or early December. What does everyone's schedules look like?

I’m thinking $325 sounds good so I did a quick search and found.

I'm up here in Show Low looking out the shop window at the snow so was just thinking the same thing. Finally can get to do some work on the Mav I have down in Glendale the next couple weeks. Need to figure out why its running so poorly. I'm good for about any weekend except the holidays (Veterans day is coming up next month). The '70 I have up here won't be road ready so have to get the '75 fired back up after sitting the summer.

Dang, missed opportunity. If anyone hears of another shop that can do a good job on our old bumpers, let us know.

Wow...I have a hard time believing they are closed...they are such a busy shop and also had the contract for Ping golf clubs.

Thanks for responding Lee. When everyone else responds on their schedules we'll see when we can meet up.

    Hey Gene,
I'm out of town on December 10-13. Thanksgiving weekend 24-25th is usually tough for me too due to autocross and Glamis commitments. Otherwise I am free. Let me know what everyone comes up with.
    Thanks,
    Tony

Im probably out. Car is partially stripped for body/paint. Ive had a carbon fiber grabber hood fall thru twice now so it looks like Ill have to get a steel one. I hope to have this painted in my off season.
