Here is the Parts I just picked up today

I went to buy the door panels, dash pad and package tray, but ended up with a truck load of free parts for a 74 v8

    I was raised in SFV...

Just do something like this site, and as things progress have some meets and gettogethers in different areas so everyone can make at least one meet a year or some thing like that, you would have to find out who started this forum and ask them a bunch of questions on how they are doing things..

Sweet, free parts are always nice to get, nice that the door panels are not cut out yet for handles and such for a 74 otherwise they would not have worked on your 70, hopefully frame stands and the v8 conversion parts are in all that stuff. Good fan blade to run

Yes free parts are always nice, the door panels were made for the 70 and yes the frame stands for the v8 motor mounts are in that stuff and as you can see in the pic. the v8 crossmember is there also....
Not bad for a trip that was for the panels and dash pad:dance:

A couple more pieces cleaned and painted

    v8 crossmember...png v8 frame mounts.png

Also ran a battery terminal wire brush cleaner through the bolt hole on the frame to clean out 49 years of crud so I can put the bolts in easily when it goes together

There are two screws on the outside, one on each side and I think two or three inside the consolette. Just open it up and remove the screws and it will come out. Be very careful with it they are highly desirable and very valuable.
