Do you not have your old hinges? But only maverick/comet ones will work. All years interchange and you can also use the front hinges off a 4 door.

If you have the old ones, and they are in good shape other than needing new pins, they can be rebuilt. Not sure if you can source these parts in Ecuador - but someone in the States could mail you these repair parts if you need them. Here is a tech article for repairing …………………………….. read the whole thing as it was updated.

Oh, I see the new post that you do not have them.

I have a bunch of used ones and would be happy to send you some at no cost, except for whatever shipping postage would be.

According to the 65-72 and 73-79 parts catalog 70/71 upper door hinge use a D0AZ, the 72 before 3/1/72 used a D2AZ. After 3/1/72 part number changed again to a D3AZ. The D3AZ hinges also fit the '69-'78 big Ford, 75-79 Granada and replaced the D2AZ used on early '72 Maverick.

The 70/72 lower hinge, before 12/1/71, use a D0AZ part number. After 12/1/71 it changed to a D2AZ. The '73-'77 Maverick have a D3AZ number. The '73-'78 big Ford and '75-'79 Granada also used the D3AZ

Big Ford makes sense. I have seen them listed on ebay for the Maverick, LTD, Grand Marquis.

6 pound Priority Mail from me to Miami area is $10.00 - Miami choice would be best, as International rates are very high compared to domestic.

I picked out a couple nice ones for you. You will need to clean and paint them, but the pins and friction wheels seem fine without slop and their overall condition is quite good. They do not need rebuilding. I doubt you could find any better ones from some donor car at home.

Paypal is fine - just make sure to use the family and friends option so I do not pay a fee. I will PM you with details.
