i was checking out your albums, and i never would have thought about dyna-matting the floors had i not seen your pics. i am going to definitely line my floors as well when i get my new carpet pan in! good lookin 73 man! -Bryce
Since that picture was made: I have added dbl faced alum. insulation on top of the Fatmat. I was getting more heat in the front floor/firewall. I got the insulation from Menard's and it made a difference -- drop temp in floor pan area 10- 15 deg.
Thats pretty nice, i didnt really think about the heat coming through. I have some sheets of 3/16 inch thick aluminum stock sitting against my shed. And i was thinking about fabricating some more or less skidplates to go under the floorpans since my floors are wearing pretty thin. Figured it would help keep the floors from falling all the way through They arent that bad, but i do have a baseball size hole in my passenger floorboard that i need to really properly patch up.
