I've been trying to find a 1970 repair manual because I wanted to start work on a Mav grabber I nabbed, but I'm having a little trouble finding an actual shop/repair manual, and I don't mind paying.

Can you guys link me to any good ones that you may know of? Thanks in advanced!

You might try the Chiltons manual. There on ebay quite often. Or someone on here should have one.:)

I try and get a real set of shop manuals for each of my cars or trucks. They have much, much more information in them then the parts store books

Absolutely! I would be >lost< without my Factory shop manuals. The exploded drawings and diagrams are priceless, especially when you tear into things.

If you add a master parts catalog on CD, you are dangerous enough to pretty much do everything, and find whatever you need by proper part number.

    At a $49.99 BIN, it's a really good investment.

Glad you found something you like and the price looks great!

For me, the CD or download version is OK for reading - but I like to have the books with me sometimes in the shop for reference.

Well the 302 did not come in the 1970, so your not gonna find a manual for that combination.

    Bingo!!!

A '71 or '72 shop manual set would be close enough.
