I came across this forum while searching for Pinto floor pans. Great site and some sweet rides! I owned a '71 Pinto for over 30 years and recently lost it in a bad accident, so now l'm building another one. Many of you have probably seen or heard of the Cruising Wagon. I stripped my '71 and using what l can in the wagon that l'm building, 347 stroker w/ Dart heads and a t-5, and just bought another one to cruise around in that has a Thunderbird turbo coupe swap. :Welcome: Late '70's early '80's I had a '72 Pinto wagon that I paneled in the rear windows, put in a 289, Toploader 4-speed and 8" rear. Fun little car.

This one was for sale a few years back at our local swap meet. I was so tempted but I must remain focused on the Maverick! 20170506_102317.jpg

Had a 72' vitamin C orange with a 347 stroker and 6 point cage. Ran 9.00 flat every time.
My favorite part about that car was the sticker in the rear window: "Only little boys wear bow ties"
