    i just got a white one wonder why no one build up the 4 doors i think theyd make a mean looking hot rod

    There are big fans in Brazil for these cars; some nice 4 doors I've seen on FB. There are a few I have seen on this board. Not a lot of interest in 4 door hot rods in this country.

    If they visit this site, they can see what I said. It's just not a sporty car. Just because literally anything can be made to go fast, doesn't mean it should be done. Craig Selvey restored a 4-door and it's pretty nice. If I had it, I'd drive it, but I wouldn't try to "hotrod" it or make it into a musclecar. Just not a sporty car...

    If you have a 4 door Maverick/Comet Hot Rod, you will most likely never see another. It will be a crowd gather if done properly.
    There was one very nice one on this forum that was destroyed by fire; I believe there still may be some pix of it around somewhere. Don't know if you have checked Brazilian or RRS Suspension sites.
    As mentioned in previous post Australians and Brazilians have some most people would be proud to own, and that includes myself....

    from what ive gathered a 4 door is only 110lbs heavier
