Wire Identification - Pink / Orange

    While poking around under the dash looking for the turn signal flasher in advance of receiving a tail light kit from Easy Performance I found a disconnected pink / orange wire circled in the attached picture. Is it related to the heater and fan? I did not see a direct match on the wiring diagram and my heater controls have never worked, though I can't really see where it goes - need one of those camera bore snakes!

    If the wire has "dashes" instead of a line, it is part of the seat belt system

    I could be wrong but I think some of the emission wires have dashes also.

    I have my dash apart and the speedometer pulled on my 73 LDO but sorry I do not see that wire. To the right of the steering column I see a blue with red stripe and separate beige wire, both with the female end of a connector, that go nowhere.

    Thanks for the input guys, I'll put the tester on it and see when it powers up.
