    So awesome.

Were the mudflaps something you could get from the factory, or is that a recent upgrade?

Love the raised white lettering. To bad Ford didn't do that when they were selling them 50 years ago. Even on the Grabbers. But even then the Mav out sold the Mustang their first 18 months. Most people don't know that.
To bad they only made a proto type Boss 302 Maverick.

Thanks, these are actually cheap mud flaps I got. I think I only paid $20 for all 4. They look period correct in my option. Not sure if Mavericks came with factory mud flaps but I can’t stand hearing any rocks or dirt hitting the quarters so I put them on.

Thanks, I think the raises white letters make it look a little sporty though I know it’s not factory. I still have the original white walls.

Some on here might think it blasphemy to have mudflaps - seeing them on yours reminds me of seeing them on Camaros.

For at least '71(no info on '72), D70-14 Wide Oval tires were available, dunno if they were even available as black wall.

All I've seen optioned to Mustang & Torino were white wall or raised letter.

Mudflaps, curb feelers, fuzzy dice, hairy dash, Dingle balls, it's your ride, do what you like. Personally I like mudflaps to keep rocks and road hazards from screwing up the fenders.

Agree. I don’t like some mods people make to their cars but hey, it’s their car. You can’t please everyone, just yourself.
