Been unable to find a new Vacuum brake booster for my 76. Might check into rebuild services. Is anyone using a substitute? 302 v8 front disc rear drum Auto Trans.

Years back I was working with a company to offer a reproduction, or at least an alternative, to this hard to find part. It ended with nothing working. Very unique part. Get yours rebuilt.

I had mine rebuilt through Rockauto about 2 months ago, I believe the company that rebuilt it is out of Texas. They have a pretty fast turn around time (about 2 weeks), a fair price, and the unit looks like brand new.

Fast forward to Nov 2022 couldnt find the Rockauto rebuild and Rockauto had NO direct customer service. Went with Harmonclassicbrakes.com. out of Georgia. Excellent turnaround time 2 weeks. shipped core to them and 296.00. Less than most. IMG_3619[1].JPG IMG_3618[1].JPG
