Hello everyone I'm from Canada.. I'm currently helping a friend build his 72 Maverick with a 302 roller, and T5 transmission.. Were having problems trying to find a missing plug.. I will post picture of someone could help that would be great, were trying to figure out if the plug was either cut off or were missing it.. It's not the ignition plug as that is an 8 pin, this is a 6 pin plug which we don't know where it's supposed to go...
I forgot to add, that all the lights, fuel gauge don't light and it won't crank, it may the connected to this issue of this plug as when we switch ignition and use the voltage light it has power so we're at a loss.. any help is greatly appreciated..
Hi Craig, Unfortunately that's not where it connects. It seems we may be missing part of the harness, but we're unsure.. Thank you for you input, Peter..
I see it now. In the picture you posted I thought you were asking about the turn signal switch plug...as it it prominent in the picture. There are only a few plugs in that area. The turn signal switch plug, the neutral safety switch plug, and the ignition switch plug. That looks like the ignition switch plug. Here is what a 1970 ignition switch plug looks like on the switch end. This will not plug into a 1972 harness.
