    Hi all,
The corners on the nut are starting to wear down where the tube meets the mechanical fuel pump. I'd like to replace the pipe that connects from the fuel pump up to the fuel filter. The pipe has that flare on the end where it mounts inside the fuel pump. What's this pipe called and is it possible to find a replacement?
If it's difficult to find replacements, have there been work-arounds?
    thank you~

You should replace that fuel pump, relatively cheap and plentiful.

Yup! They're plentiful! Ordered another spare for later...
I think I found the keyword to use and it's "Pump to Carb" fuel line. Found a couple variations online of the fuel line, but described for Chevy use. Fitting size is looking ok and I may try this out and bend the pipe a bit to make it fit.

The problem is being the end of the fuel line that screws into the fuel pump. After all these years, the corners are starting to round on that fuel line and its getting hard to keep a tool attached to it. So, want to replace it...

For most part the engine is stupid, has no idea what vehicle that it's installed into.

Look up fuel line for similar year Mustang 302 at one of the Mustang vendors.

BTW a Chevy line is NOT goin' to fit, has pump on opposite side of engine.

That's the key phase I was looking for to use as a search - mustang 302. Thanks! I've been overseas the last couple years and haven't spent time with the car and the hobby... I forget so much that I've done and the vendors I've bookmarked. But I got a list of things to work on when I return home for the coming holidays.

This is the part I am looking for - https://www.cjponyparts.com/classic...al-steel-mustang-302-4v-1968-1970/p/MUC1013O/
It's not the one I'd order yet, just started searching the site and other mustang related vendors.
    Thanks again
