$$$$ Chrome plating anybody???

Im in the process of restoring my 1970 Grabber and I am looking for a good quality but still fair/inexspensive chromer to rechrome the front and rear bumpers .Advance plating in Nashville http://www.advancedplating.com/ quoted me $250.00 per bumper is this a good price or should i try to find a better deal does anyone know somewhere within 300 or so miles of West KY area that can perhaps give me a better price than that?

 

Tri City Plating 169.00 each with a lifetime gaurentee (sp?) I recommend them highly they are located in Elizabethtown Tenn.

 

when i was into "show bikes" i sent my chroming to a place in Paducah Ky. ...frank...

 

DC Bumpers in Houston, I am not sure if they straighten and rechrome, or just swap them out with newer and chromier ones. I think they are about $250 each.

So, the price sounds pretty good to me.

 

yeah i have consulted with the place in paducah they are strictly bike parts.

 

im trying to decide if I should do away with the rear bumper guards.

Just stay away from Bumper Boys in California...several people here with bad experiences including myself. I'll never use them again.

 

i got mine done for 80 bucks each

 

We get our replating done at Tri-City too. The work they do is fantastic and I highly recommend them.
