i got the undercoating off under the back of the car. i think the cool temps. were a plus. the stuff was hard and brittle so it chipped off with little smearing.
got up in a wheelwell to see how it would act. it was easier than the back...:yup: if i take the tire off it will be even better.
i need to get back on my motor swap...cleaning the engine compartment... :burnout:

Looks nice Frank. I remember doing that to mine. Made a big mess as I recall. You're gonna have to do a lot of cleaning to that shop after this project is over!

Frank, you've been busy. Lookin' good.
How many wire wheels have you worn out now?
Make sure that you wear your safety glasses.

I used Rust Bullet on 100% of it - then painted with Eastwood Chassis Black - than sprayed on undercoating as needed for a uniform look.

Media blasted entire underside, epoxy primer, then Eastwood Chassis black on frame and underside, undercoating in Wheelwells.

That looks so nice Craig! (y)

I didn't have a media blaster, so I used an angle grinder with wire cup and a die grinder with a wire brush for tight spots.

As for the Rust Bullet, I have not found anything it didn't stick to. But time will tell I guess once the car is on the road and stones start hitting it. If it chips bad I will be disappointed. I do like the Eastwoods Chassis Black color. It is just the right amount of gloss.
